Blended Learning

Students work with teachers to establish an individualized learning plan based on learning styles, needs, and interests. Students, therefore, have autonomy and ownership in their learning.

The blended learning model follows an approach that allows students to move around the classroom in an organized manner, so as to reinforce learning and cognition through various modalities that use both right and left brain activity. Studies have shown students learn much easier and retain more information using this method.

Station rotation and flex-space are terms you will come to know and love. Students are prompted by a teaching assistant to move through their designated stations to complete work in a timely manner. Students are also provided "creative café" time that encourages critical thinking skills, group work, leadership, and creativity.
