Our Mission

Mission Statement

To create a multi-cultural faith-based learning atmosphere for the millennial student that focuses not only on education, but individual learning styles, multiple intelligences, and personal growth while incorporating diverse instructional strategies, community responsibility and personal accountability for a holistic approach in equipping students for the future.

Philosophy

We believe students should not be taught to pass a test, but to pass in life. With this understanding, our goal is to not only facilitate learning, but to prepare our graduates for success in life and not just college. Each student has value and is teachable, and our job as educators is to not only facilitate didactic learning, but to be mentors and spiritual guides. Understanding the importance of developing a personal relationship with Christ, teachers are equipped to guide students towards being productive members of society through cultural diversity and awareness as well as community accountability and responsibility.

Statement of Purpose

Carolina Leadership Academy is committed to meeting the diverse needs of the millennial student through a unique approach to educating the student as a whole which will foster growth and cognition through not only math, science, and history, but through the arts, social and emotional learning, character development, and global literacy. While the public school system is adept at educating within a diverse demographic, the stringent criteria for teachers to perform and produce numbers along with the behavior and social challenges have warranted a new approach to "teaching" today's student. Carolina Leadership Academy is dedicated to producing future philanthropist, globally cognizant entrepreneurs, and committed community leaders.
